All or nothing!
It's the story of a kid who grows up with only the towers of a dormitory city as his horizon and dreams of becoming a cartoonist. Between family dramas, neighborhood life, school failure, discovery of punk and narcotics, his chaotic journey led him, at the age of 19, to prison.
Thierry Guitard delivers a story without concessions or clichés, filled with a communicative rage and a foolproof optimism in the face of social injustice and fate. Throughout its history, it is that of the suburbs, underground culture, victims of precariousness, judicial harassment and the prison system that is told to us.
Born in 1966, Thierry Guitard is the author, among others, of The True Story of John Dillinger (Denoël Graphic), Double Violence (Verticales) and 1st Round (Un Regard Moderne). He has also illustrated texts by Jack London, Gaston Leroux or Marcus Rediker (Libertalia) and draws for the press (Libération, Rock & Folk, Politis, The New Yorker, etc.).
